Serve The Congregation

There are many ways to put your values into action here at the Bellingham Unitarian Fellowship (BUF). We need people with a variety of talents, interests and passions to keep this a vibrant community. Whether you prefer working with people, buildings, paper, computers, art, finances or food, we have a place for you to put your principles into action.

Our Hospitality team serves by providing a warm welcome and ongoing hospitality. Our Caring teams assist members in times of crisis.

If your talents and interests lie in teaching our children, consider being a religious education teacher.

Do you have a way with numbers, budgeting, finance or stewardship?  Check out our various Financial Health teams.

It takes many volunteers working behind the scenes to keep our congregation running smoothly.  We have opportunities for office work, computer support, library, publicity, building and maintenance.

To volunteer, contact our Administrator at (360) 733-3837 or admin@buf.org or contact the team leader directly.  There are some tasks for which there are online signup sheets. Those links are included with the team's description.  To provide information about your own abilities and interests relevant to congregational service, please complete the "Find Your Place At BUF" survey.
